MUSIC - 2016 LINE-UP:  STAY TUNED FOR 2017 UPDATES OUT IN MAY!
Music plays a BIG part in the G'Knight Ride.  We are proud to have had so many great artists play on our Main Stage and along the Route through the years.  This year is no exception.  Easily one of our strongest line-ups ever we are returning to our roots with a full-on Colorado line-up of awesome artists that both rock it and deserve more attention.  We hope you are as excited about it as we are!  Whether you come for the riding, or the music, or a little bit of both - ENJOY!

Post-ride concert is FREE this year - come join us and have a blast.  Feel free to join us June 18th and have a great time in Roosevelt Park with these great Bands, Oskar Blues Brews, food trucks, and more!

MAIN STAGE ARTISTS:

8:30PM - 10PM       DESERT RADIO

After a long evening in the saddle, kick back with an Oskar Blues brew and friends, and have fun with Desert Radio, headlining this year's post-Ride concert.  The band has had several great local shows, including recently at Left Hand Brewing Co at a sold-out afterhours show (where we found them).  Desert Radio plays desert rock, straight up rock, and punk music from Queens of the Stone Age, Fu Manchu, Eagles of Death Metal, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Social Distortion and other similar bands.

7:00PM - 8:15PM    THE LONG RUN

The Long Run, "Colorado's Tribute to The Eagles" was born from 5 of some of the busiest musicians on Colorado's Front Range.  Laden with 4 and 5 part harmonies, They reproduce the Eagles' hits with an organic 70's sound, accurate lead guitarists,
multi-instrumentalists, and a lead-singing drummer.  The Long Run has played many of Denver's major festivals, headlined casinos and fairs in UT, WY, and New Mexico.

5:30PM - 6:45PM    ONE FLEW WEST

In the summer of 2010, three 15 year old boys got together in a basement and wrote a terrible song. Once they realized the song was an abomination, they learned some cover songs. Armed with an arsenal of folk rock tunes that they didn't write, they decided to street perform on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado.  In the years that have passed since, the band has grown and grown into something that nobody expected. From humble beginnings performing at the Rock N Soul Cafe in Boulder, the band has since performed (and headlined) venues such The Fox Theatre, The Marquis Theatre, The Aggie Theatre, The Summit Music Hall, The Gothic Theatre, The Dickens Opera House, eTown Hall, and even Planet Bluegrass.  One of their singles, "Kind of Love", was selected by Channel 93.3 as a finalist for Hometown for the Holidays 2014.  In the spring of 2015, OFW performed at Channel 93.3's annual Keggs and Eggs concert at Lodo's with Brick+Mortar, 3OH!3, and The Dirty Heads.

3:15PM - 5:15PM  DJ SHACK O'LOVE

Marcelo is a mainstay of Longmont, the curator of the KCP Gallery on Main St., and can be found dropping beats in local craft brewery taprooms to outside City Center during Bike to Work Day.  We have been working to get DJ Shack O'Love into our line-up for years and are excited our schedules this time synch up. Come to the G'Knight Ride and here him spinning mid-afternoon!

2:00PM - 3:00PM          THE CONSTANT TOURISTS

This gypsy rock band won the Rocky Mountain Battle of the Bands and has been gaining a bigger following ever since.  Formed by Nate and Cassie Sanchez, The Constant Tourists are Denver's hidden gem! Nate's smoky "Latin" vocals and guitar embellishments along with Cassie's old world influences on the accordion, trumpet, and vocals will take you across the globe, musically. This dynamic duo from Oregon moved to Denver, CO several years ago where they met Joel (mandolin), Dudley (bass), and Sam (percussion). Live concerts are always full of surprises!
